Common questions
Waxing FAQ
What areas can be waxed?
Common options include brows and facial areas, underarms, arms, legs, bikini line or Brazilian, chest, abdomen, back, shoulders, buttocks, hands, feet and customized combinations. Exact availability is confirmed when booking.
How long should hair be before waxing?
Hair needs enough visible length for wax to grip. Avoid shaving or tweezing immediately before the appointment and ask your esthetician for timing guidance based on the area and your growth cycle.
How long do results last?
Because waxing removes hair from the root, smoothness generally lasts longer than shaving. The interval varies by body area, individual growth cycle and whether all hairs were in the same growth stage.
Can I wax while taking isotretinoin?
No. U.S. isotretinoin labeling says to avoid wax epilation during treatment and for at least six months afterward because of scarring risk. Disclose all oral and topical medications before booking.
Can I wax if I use retinol or exfoliating acids?
Possibly, but not without review. Topical retinoids, strong acids and recent resurfacing can make skin more vulnerable. Tell us the exact product, strength, area and timing; do not stop a prescription unless its prescriber directs you.
Can full-body waxing be done in one appointment?
Sometimes. The safest and most comfortable plan depends on the areas selected, skin condition and appointment length. A customized plan may use one extended visit or staged appointments.
Is waxing available by telehealth?
No. Waxing is an in-office service. You may, however, book online and contact the team in advance with questions about preparation.
